[cAos-devel] My recent spate of commits

Hey All,

Same here, I started with cAos 2 (used it to setup a 96 node
cluster) end of last year. Due to some newer hardware (chipset) that
showed up which cAos 2 wasn't able to handle, I tried out cAos 3 and was
impressed with it's installation and bootup speed. Speaking of which
and out of curiosity, is there a newer installation/cinch version of
cAos 2 planned for the foreseeable future or is everything going to cAos
3? The lack of some libraries with cAos 3 has really slowed me down in
setting things up the way I need them on this new hardware. I've been
documenting my progress with cAos 3 and contributing to the wiki with
items I feel confident with like swatch and iptables. Currently, I'm
very busy with adjunct teaching and my own research, but hopefully I'll
be able to contribute much more to the wiki and cAos development effort
once the end of the quarter gets here the middle of next month. I've
been using and administering Linux setups for the past 5+ years, but
finding the time to track down the plethora of dependencies some
applications take can be hard to do :) .

Later, Tim Leger
